Mischaela Advani (born March 27, 1989) is an American businessperson, humanitarian, award winning writer, and former model. Mischaela is the Founder of I Was Here, a philanthropic effort to impact every nation on Earth in one lifetime and is a member of the board of directors of the CFF. Education Mischaela is a graduate of Indiana University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing & Finance. Post graduation she studied an Emerging Technology specialization from Yonsei University in South Korea. Mischaela attended the Harvard Business School Summer Business Program, studying financial accounting, business analytics, and managerial economics prior to her MBA. As of 2016, she is an MBA candidate at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Advani is a member of American Mensa with a verified IQ of >130. Modeling She first gained attention when she was scouted at Elite Modeling Agency's Fresh Faces open call in 2009. She has modeled for Vera Wang, Nicole Miller, BCBG, Van Cleef and Arpels and more. Mischaela gained international attention when her personal style was documented in Vanity Fair, The Sartorialist, Lucky, and South Korea's Cracker Your Wardrobe magazine in 2010. In 2015 and 2016 consecutively she was named one of Glamour Magazine's Global "Popularizer 100" and featured prominently in the magazine's September issue. She was named an official brand ambassador for Revlon owned Elizabeth Arden for 2015 and 2016. In Fall 2016, Advani was selected by AmazingCosmetics as one of the faces of their “No Shade Left Behind” campaign. United Nations Involvement Mischaela has been involved with the United Nations Association since 2013. In 2013, she delivered the closing speech on the issue of ”human trafficking” in the United Sates at the 64th United Nations Day commemoration in partnership with the Dept. of Human Rights. In the same year, she represented the nation Hungary on behalf of the Hungarian Consul and acted as a flag-bearer and envoy of peace for the United Nation’s International Day of Peace ceremony. In September of 2016 she was named a United Nations Global Goals Ambassador for Gender Equality. Mischaela Advani sits on the US National Committee for UN Women’s Public Affairs committee.
