Mirco Braccini (born January 30, 1959) is an Italian photographer. He is in charge of all visual collections of the Berluti (LVMH group), the first luxury shoemaker for men. Biography Braccini obtained a master's degree in graphic arts in 1977. Later, he worked as a graphic designer and served as assistant to Alberto Nodolini, Italys artistic director. Braccini has published more than 1,000 photographs for famous magazines around the world. Some of the celebrities he has photographed include French actress Annie Girardot, Sammy Davis Jr, Françoise Hardy, German choreographer Pina Bausch, Ingrid Bergman and Nancy Allen. Professional experience In 1979, he studied the electronic flash in Venice with engineer Harold Eugene Edgerton of MIT, its inventor. That same year he became the artistic director of Point de Vue Agency in Italy until 1988. In 1980, he worked as a photographer for Elle with journalist Anne Chabrol and took many portraits of celebrities such as Hardy and local celebrities Adriano Celentano, Ugo Tognazzi and Claudia Cardinale. The following year, he worked as a photographer for Harper's Bazaar taking photos of people like Nancy Allen, Mireille Matthieu, Girardot, Sammy Davis Jr, Hardy again, Bausch and Ingrid Bergman. From 1981 to 1988, he ran a series of advertising campaigns which ran in magazines such as Vogue, Max, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vogue Pelle, L’Uomo Vogue, Grazia, and Glamour. From 1988 to 1992 he was artistic director of Leo Brak Agency. From 1993 to 1995, he directed the advertising catalogues of brands such as Piano Piano Dolce Carlotta and Deco by Dolce & Gabbana. Since 1995, he has taken charge of all visual collections of Berluti LVMH group), the first luxury shoemaker for men. In 1998, he completed his study of digital photography at the Birmingham School in England. Three years later he became exclusive party journalist for Naples's Monsieur Italie magazine, paying homage to Olga Berluti. The fashion magazine MUG published a special edition, "International Fashion" in 2003, in which Braccini collaborated, creating an ad for an English brand shoes Alden MasterWorks and submitting the "Testimony Photos" of Olga Berluti for an article named "Napoli My Love." In 2004, he participates in various seminars of video montage, with cameraman and sound technicians organized by Cinema School of Milan, he also illustrated his photographs for the article « A tu per tu con il Signore delle Pelli » published in I Maestri Di Sutor Art. In 2005, a photo-essay about Mirco Braccini's career and works was published in Informazione. In 2006, Mirco Braccini organised an event at the Berluti shop on Paris's Rue Marbeuf to celebrate the fortieth birthday of designer Olga Berluti, and this event was covered in Monsieur. The next year, Mirco Braccini carried out many high quality photo-essays and collaborated with Monsieur Italie magazine. In 31 December 2009, Braccini became the official photographer of the new collection StefanoBi (LVMH Group). In April, he carried out a photo-report for a famous restaurant L'Ambroisie located at Place des Vosges in Paris . In September, he shot a portrait of president of Movimoda, Reggio Emilia, and an ad for SpiritodiVino magazine in November.
