Mir Mandow was father in law of a famous Warrior Mir Chakar Khan Rind (Chakar e Azam) and was one of the Amirs of Balochistan. He ruled the territory of Kalat from 1488 to 1503 and spent a glorious tenure of 15 years of his Govern ship. Historical evidences cited the Baloch tribe as a brave and Warrior nation. According to Mir Gul khan Nasir, Rai Bahdar Lala Hoto Ram, Mr justice Khuda Bakhsh Bajarani and others writers, Kalat was under control of a Hindu empire Sewa and was defeated by the Mughals. Mughals were further defeated by the Mirwanies and Mir Umer Mirwani took over the charge of state. Mir Chakar was interested in Kalat and organized powerful alliance with Mir Mandow Mandwani Rind and Lashari tribes to fight against Mir Umer Mirwani and succeeded after a bloodshed war. After two years ruling the state, Mir Chakar Khan Rind planned to conquer Sibi and started travelling with his troops towards Balochistan. Mir Mandow Rind the father in law of Mir Chakar was appointed as head of Kalat who ruled about 15 years.
