The following is a list of Minor Characters who have appeared throughout the Scary Movie Series. This list places the characters in alphabetical order based on surname, or first name if the former is not confirmed in any Scary Movie media, and then into the four different categories depending on which film or media originated in. This list does not include the really small Scary Movie Characters.
Minor Characters from Scary Movie 1
Drew Decker
* Drew was portrayed by Carmen Electra.
Drew is the first victim in Scary Movie. She thought she was talking to her boyfriend but it was Ghostface. Electra would return as another character in Scary Movie 4. She was based on Casey, a character from Scream She did not return in Scary Movie 2, 3 or 4.
Buffy Gilmore
* Buffy was Portrayed by Shannon Elizabeth.
Buffy is Cindy and Brenda's friend. She was killed by her brother in Scary Movie. Like most of the other dead characters, she did not return in Scary Movie 2 like all the other characters (except for Bobby and Greg). To Brenda, she is a "Slut". Buffy was based on Tatum Riley, a character from Scream and Helen, a character from I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Doofy Gilmore
* (Special Officer) Doofy was Portrayed by Dave Sheridan.
Doofy is Buffy's younger brother, he is twenty-five-and-a-half years old and he has a bad mouth and spits. He's a special officer and he wants to be threated like that. He isn't threated like that by his sister Buffy 'cause when he tell her that mom told her to respect him she tells him that mom also sais that he has to stop putting the vacuum cleaner on his dick. He farts and shits in his pants alot. He has a relationship with Gail Hairstorm, who he first meets as an officer who wants to have sex with him in order to get information, (not knowing that he's not really an idiot.) He was revealed to be the Ghostface. As he leaves, he takes off his dorky clothes and is revealed to be quite handsome. One of is famous qoutes is when an officer tells him to smell his finger (wich is covered with cum), Doofy tells him to smell his finger. On wich the office replies "Whats that?", on wich Doofy replies "My Ass".
He was based on the Character Dewey from the Scream series He did not return in Scary Movie 2, 3 or 4.
Gail Hailstorm
* Gail was Portrayed by Cheri Oteri
Gail actually commits the second murder in Scary Movie, by gunning down a teenage boy who keeps making fun of her during a news broadcast. Ultimately, Gail and her long-suffering cameraman, Kenny, are slashed by Ghostface in a sequence parodying The Blair Witch Project. She seems to have a relationship with Doofy 'cause at the end of the film she is shown to be alive, when she picks up Doofy (ditching his retarded disguise) for a date. Gail was based on Gale Weathers, a character from the Scream trilogy She did not return in Scary Movie 2, 3 or 4.
Greg Phillipe
* Greg was Portrayed by Lochlyn Munro
Greg is the only one who doesn't want to go to the police in Scary Movie 1. He's Buffy's boyfriend who gets murdered while she is contesting in a model contest. Greg was based on Barry Cox, a character from I Know What You Did Last Summer. He did not return in Scary Movie 2, 3 or 4.
Bobby Prinze
* Bobby was Portrayed by Jon Abrahams.
Bobby is Cindy Campbell's boyfriend in Scary Movie. Somewhere in the movie he was reveales to be Ghostface, and he's gay. But when he tells this to Cindy he gets attacked by the real Ghostface who reveals to be Doofy. He died and did not return like all the other dead people in Scary Movie 2. He was based on Ray Bronsen, a character from I Know What You Did Last Summer and Billy Loomis a character from Scream.
The Sheriff
* The Sheriff was Portrayed by Kurt Fuller
The sheriff is the local lawman who has absolutely no intrest of solving the murder case, he just wants to get layed. He shows Cindy photo's of himself in his underwair when he wants Cindy to identificate the murderer. When Cindy finds out Ghostface was Doofy, the sheriff replies "shit pants?" He did not return in Scary Movie 2, 3 or 4.
Minor Characters from Scary Movie 2
Buddy
* Buddy was Portrayed by Christopher Masterson.
Buddy is Cindy's friend and later boyfriend in Scary Movie 2, he's one of the many people that has to go to the hell house, together with Ray, Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, Theo and some other people. At the end of Scary Movie 2 they seem to have a relationship, but then Buddy suddenly disappears in the end. He is not heard or seen in Scary Movie 3 or Scary Movie 4.
Hanson
* Hanson was Portrayed by Chris Elliott
Hanson is the caretaker from Scary Movie 2 he has a mischanged hand and a hand that isn't really strong, so he has to do everything with the dirty hand. Hanson has lived in the house for a lot of years so he knows the most about Mr. and Mrs. Kane (and Big Daddy Kane of course.) Hanson also completely ruins his self-made dinner by saying it's self-made. He is in constant beef with Dwight Hartman about hands and legs ('cause Dwight can't feel his legs) this is a spoof to Wild Wild West. When Dwight almost dies (it's a cliffhanger) Hanson tells him to grab his hand, Dwight (of course) rather dies than grabbing that dirty thing. In the middle of the movie he gets possessed by Mr. Kane's ghost, but he explodes after being in a fight with Cindy, Brenda and Theo. At the ending we see that Hanson is still alive and still possessed and disguised as a hotdog seller When he screams "YYIIEEE" he gets hit by a car.
Hanson was based on Reverend Henry Kane, the cult leader in "Poltergeist II". Hanson also spoofed scenes from Hannibal and in wich he was based on Hannibal Lecter and the thin man from Charlie's angels. Hanso did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4.
Father Harris
* Father Harris was Portrayed by Andy Richter
Father Harris helped Father McFeely release a little girl from the devil a lot of years ago, in the Hell House. Together with Father McFeely he helped the girl by throwing up on her and other funny things. It's not known how many years ago he destroyed the devil, so it's also not known if he's still alive, anyway he didn't return in any other Scary Movie sequel.
Dwight Hartman
* Dwight was Portrayed by David Cross
Dwight is Professor Oldman’s helper, he can’t feel his legs that’s why he’s in a wheelchair he doesn’t want to be known as cripple. He is in constant beef with Hanson about hands and legs (‘cause Hanson has a mischanged hand) this is a spoof to Wild Wild West. After Oldman dies he is the only one with the keys from the hell house gates. When Theo wants to give him a little “treat” in exchange for the keys he replies: “Wait a second, I don’t need your help I can do it myself.” On wich he starts sucking his own dick. Dwight was loosely based on Dr. Scott a character from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also copied the quote “Do you feel lucky punk” from Dirty Harry. Dwight did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4.
Mr. Hugh Kane
* Mr. Hugh Kane was Portrayed by Richard Moll
Mr. Hugh Kane is the main villian in Scary Movie 2 he's the owner of the Hell House. He had a mistress that looked incredibly much like Alex Monday, and a wife that looked a lot like Ciny Campbell (except for a view little differnces.) He has sex with Alex wich was a bad decission, 'cause she gives him craps and she falls in love with him and wants to marrie him. He has a weel chair duel with Dwight Hartman (spoofing a scene from Mission: Impossible II), wich he wins 'cause dwight flies out of the window. He also possesses Hanson for a while. The whole movie he wants to get Cindy because she looks very much like his wife, but when he finally gets her it's clear that Cindy just lured him onto a platform on wich he is destroyed. At the end of the film he returns still possessing Hanson, but get's hit by a car, wich is the definite end of Mr. Hugh Kane.
Father McFeely
* Father McFeely was Portrayed by James Woods
Father McFeely released a little girl from the devil a lot of years ago, in the Hell House together with Father Harris. He "blessed" the house before he did this by taking a dump. Together with Father Harris he helped the girl by throwing up on her and other funny things. It's not known how many years ago he destroyed the devil, so it's also not known if he's still alive, anyway he didn't return in any other Scary Movie sequel.
Alex Monday
* Alex was Portrayed by Tori Spelling
Just like the other main cast of Scary Movie 2 Alex is send to the hell house. Alex wants to be friends with Cindy and Brenda but isn't cool enough for them. She does stil admires them until she finds out that Cindy is a lot like Mr. Kane's original wife Caroline, and Alex is in love with Kane. Alex gets killed by Mr. Kane, with Polly Parrot saying: "You are the weakest link, goodbye" She did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4
Professor Oldman
* Professor Oldman was Portrayed by Tim Curry
Professor Oldman is a teacher on the college on wich the main cast of Scary Movie 2 lives. He is the person who leads everyone to the hell house with help of his helper Dwight, he wants to proof that there’s life after dead. He doesn’t want to leave the place because he wants to get layed. He eventually gets killed by Shorty Meeks his girlfriend before he has a chance to get layed. Professor Oldman was loosely based on the professor a character from The Rocky Horror Picture Show He did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4.
Polly Parrot
* Polly Parrot was voiced by Matthew Friedman Polly is Mr. Kane’s parrot, he has a really big mouth and is one of the favourite characters from Scary Movie 2. Polly is well known for saying: You are the weakest Link, goodbye. When character Alex Monday dies. According to him he gets layed a lot, at the end of Scary Movie 2 wee see that he’s adopted by Cindy and shits all over the wall. He did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4.
Theo
* Theo was Portrayed by Kathleen Robertson
Theo is one of Cindy’s and Brenda’s friends and one of the many people that are sent to the hell house in Scary Movie 2. She is some kind of replacement for Buffy Gilmore from Scary Movie 1. She has no relationship for as far as we know. She did not return in Scary Movie 3 or 4.
Minor Characters from Scary Movie 3 Cody
* Cody was portrayed by Drew Mikuska
Is an orphan who has visions of the mysterious force that is at the heart of the killer videocassette. Cody has an amazing ability to end up in a difficult situation and get out of it (in Scary Movie 3, he's hit by a car twice, is blown out of a window, is hit on the head with a shovel, a basketball, and with a baseball bat). He is another one of the people who watches the video tape. His visions also seem to give him the ability to see into the future. In the deleted scenes, Cindy was actually imagining Cody as explained. He is in military school in Scary Movie 4.
Minor Characters from Scary Movie 4 Tom Ryan
* Tom is Portrayed by Craig Bierko
Tom is a divorced man with two kids who appears in Scary Movie 4. He appears to like Cindy after the death of George Logan. He lives next to the house in wich Cindy takes care of an old woman. He and his kids are captured by Jigsaw. He saves his kids in the end after by destroying the ass-rammer. There is no rumour yet about Tom returning in Scary Movie 5
