Mindsmack

MindSmack is a New York-based interactive media agency specializing in web design and development, iPhone, mobile and social network application development, brand enhancement, and audio/video post-production.
Overview
The privately held company was founded in 1999 as an online advertising designer by Sam Feuer. MindSmackTV was subsequently founded by Sam Feuer and his brothers, Michael and Todd Feuer.
MindSmack’s founder has this to say about the name: "My cousin Jamey and I were brainstorming firecracker words that we loved and were powerful. He put those 2 words together and I was blown away. The rest is web history." According to Feuer, the secret to their company's success is "insanely high standards including less than one minute to respond to customer service requests."
MindSmack developed FastMall, a turn-by-turn navigation system that provides maps of indoor areas. FastMall does not require GPS or internet access. MindSmack also developed Smacktive, an app that seek to mitigate loneliness and obesity by helping people find others nearby to do platonic activities.
Inc. Magazine's 2009 list of 500 "Entrepreneurial Superstars" included MindSmack.com at #257 Overall and #6 in the Media category.
