Mika Kazuo Horiuchi is a japanese-american musician, born on April 22, 1986 in Seattle, Washington, is the former bass guitar player for heavy metal band Cellador and the current bass guitar player for post-hardcore band Falling In Reverse. Mika is most known for his guitar like bass solos and his finger speed. Biography At the early age of 9, Mika was already playing in both Classical and Jazz Ensembles. Mika began taking serious interest in the bass guitar throughout his pre-teen years and formed his first band in 2001. In mid 2008 he launched his own clothing company with the name Aizou Clothing. Cellador Mika's first show with the band was with Unearth, in their hometown Omaha, Nebraska and later appearing as a fill in during the 2007 All That Remains headlining tour. As of April 2007 Mika Horiuchi has been the new permanent bass player for Cellador. Falling in Reverse Mika joined the post hardcore band Falling In Reverse in late April 2011, replacing the former bassist Nason Schoeffler (Current lead vocalist/bassist of MeMyselfAlive), although the debut album was recorder by Schoeffler, Mika may appear in videos or post jobs. The new album will released July 26th, 2011. Influences Billy Sheehan and Steve Harris influences are easily heard through his unique basslines. He has been seen using a wah and fuzz pedal when performing live solos very similar to Cliff Burton's "" solo. However Mika's overall technique is compared to that of bass legend Billy Sheehan.
