Midtowne Little Rock

Midtowne Little Rock, is a small, upscale lifestyle center located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Many of the city's exclusive stores are located here, including the first Arkansas locations for Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, J. Jill, and Ann Taylor Loft. The center is also home to key secondary properties for companies with established presence in the market. Ann Taylor, Tween Brands (Limited Too) and The Talbots, Inc. (Talbot's) — three companies with stores at nearby Park Plaza Mall — opened locations for Ann Taylor Loft, Justice Just for Girls, and J. Jill, respectively. Companies with west Little Rock locations opened here as well, with second outlets for Chico's (in addition to a White House Black Market store), P.F. Chang's China Bistro (via its concept Pei Wei Asian Diner), JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, and local contemporary apparel retailer RK Collections (via Impulse). The high-traffic location overlooking the intersection of Markham Street and University Avenue also attracted Starbucks, which was the first of the center's tenants to open on September 1, 2006, as construction continued on additional buildings. The center is owned and developed by Strode Property Company, which announced plans in fall 2007 for a companion shopping center to be built during 2008 and 2009 down University Avenue at the former University Mall site.
