Microfederalism

Microfederalism is a political theory that advocates the abolition of State governments and the redistribution of sovereign power to very small, local political units. Simultaneously, it retains the autonomous power of the Federal government in certain circumstances. The theory was pioneered by the American political scientists Jesse Morgan and Stephen Kirkus.
