De La Salle High School (Concord, Calif)...Lettered three years in baseball...Rawlings pre-season second team All-American 2006, First team Contra Costa Times 2005,2006, BVAL first team 2006, BVAL second team 2005, Contra Costa Time's 100 Best Prep Athletes 2005, 2006...Helped lead De La Salle to two North Coast Section 3A titles...as a senior batted .421 with 39 hits, 34 runs scored and drove in 23 runs, hitting 19 extra-base hits including 5 homeruns and 4 triples...also stole 16 bases and had a .557 on-base percentage...Puma All-American as a junior...batted .409 as a junior with 35 hits and 35 runs scored and drove in 21 runs with 4 homeruns...had a .569 on-base percentage...went 11 for 20 in De La Salle's four NCS playoff games...graduated with honors...played summer baseball with the elite NorCal team
