Born on December 23, 1978, Michael Dariel Salinas is the heaviest living person in the world. At the age of 29 Mr. Salinas tips the scales at an amazing 987.75 lbs. As a child he grew up in a small town and was exposed to a minimal amount of physical activity. At 13 he was already lining up to tip the scales at 287 lbs. While many doctors were concerned for the condition of his health, there was little that could be done to suppress his appetite. As he grew older it was at the age of 18 that he acquired his favorite catch phrase "Do you Mind?". Little did he konw that his journey through college would find him repeating this phrase numerous times.
