Marcus Harris, better known by his stage name MH the Verb, is an American emcee, DJ, producer and social activist based in Philadelphia, PA. After forming the organic Hip Hop fusion band, the BNVz, while a student at the University of Pittsburgh, Harris eventually gained recognition as a solo artist with his 2005 debut CD "We Blowin' Up", becoming one of the East Coast's top crossover artists that fused the genres of jazz, electro-pop and hip hop to create what is known as "New School Soul". In 2010, he founded the social media youth movement, BuildorDestroy. Since then, he has shared stages with Kid CuDi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the Roots, and many others. He continues to tour venues across the country, promoting his most recent album series "Cult Classics: Volume 1" and supporting organizations such as Liberty in North Korea and Barrios Unidos.
