MetriQ is a product of the software company MetriQ Limted, which is based in Auckland, New Zealand. It is a Microsoft Windows application designed for professionals that captures PC-based work time without user data entry. The product can also track time away from the PC through automated and manual timers and reminders. Company MetriQ was founded by Nile Mosley in 2004. The original concept for the product came from a research project with the University of Auckland, in relation to web cost esimation and Baysian Networks. The software monitors applications at the process level tightly coulpled from within the Operating System, an approachy generally referred to as time capture. |
