The continuation license is issued under Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005 pursuant to Article 3 of the [http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2014/17/pdfs/ukpga_20140017_en.pdf Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 (Transitional Provisions) Order 2014] (“the Order”) on 29 October 2014 and is valid from 1 November 2014.

Meridian Gaming Ltd. (working under Meridian brand) founded in 2007.
The Company has more than 2000 employees. The Company's offices are not strictly centralised. The employees are working in two main headquarters: Belgrade (Serbia) and Valletta (Malta). The Company has more than 30 partners in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa providing them with online and land-based sportsbook solutions, RNG, Casino, Live Dealer Casino, Payments, Virtual Games, eSports Betting, Fantasy Sports, Empty Bet and Customer Support. Meridian Gaming partners with international corporations to deliver unique and exciting betting program to a worldwide audience.<ref name="refname1" />
Primarily, Meridian is focused on online betting & retail business, having shops in these countries and running over 20 websites.
Company leads a responsible corporate policy. As a member of the RGA (Remote Gambling Association) the company is actively applying all legal provisions and procedures.
Through cooperation with IBAS company as our ADR entity for the UK market, as well as with the Responsible Gaming Trust, Meridian strives to maintain a high level of transparency and social responsibility.
Meridian Gaming Ltd is member of Austrian Association for Betting and Gambling<ref name="refname7" /> which joined European Gambling and Betting Association.<ref name="refname8" />

Early Warning System - EWS
Meridian supports the Early Warning System (EWS) put in place by the world football association FIFA. Through this early warning system, anything suspicious, such as excessively high bets, will be reported to the FIFA not matter which match is involved. The EWS experts are monitoring the world betting market and are in contact with the investigative authorities in order to keep the sport clean.<ref name="refname2" />
