Melody Haase

Larissa Joyce Melody Haase (born 3 February 1994) is a German reality TV personality and singer. Her first public appearance was as a contestant on the eleventh season of German Idol in 2014. Until 2015, she regularly uploaded videos to her YouTube channel Larissa Joyce Mel.
Early life and career
Haase was born and raised in Berlin, where she lived with her sister, child actress Chantal Hourticolon, and her mother. Haase sang in school concerts and singing camps.

At the age of 19, she left school to participate in the eleventh season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German version of American Idol. There she was involved in several disputes and also recorded a lewd video with her co-candidate Tanja Tischewitsch. She made it into the top ten and performed in the live shows. After performing her rendition of Avicii’s Addicted To You in the first live show, she retired. She ultimately finished eleventh, after two more candidates were additionally selected by the audience to join the live show.
GirlBand
After leaving DSDS, she and two of her former co-candidates, Yasemin Kocak and Vanessa Valera Rojas, formed a singing group called GirlBand. After a few promo appearances and just before the release of their first single Haase left the band. According to her own statements, this was caused by differences with the management of the band, not with the other group members. She was replaced by German singer Vanessa Krasniqi. GirlBand broke up after the release of their first single.
Rendezvous im Paradies 2015
One year after her participation on DSDS, she was a contestant on the Austrian version of The Bachelor, Rendezvous im Paradies on TV-channel Puls 4. She made it into the final round but finished in second place.
In 2016, she was featured on the song Maske auf by German rapper Blokkmonsta under the name Melody. She sings the hook and has her own rap verse.
Adam sucht Eva 2017
In 2017, she appeared on the German version of Adam seeks Eve and was nearly coupled with kite surfer Marius Hoppe. This ended suddenly, when she spit at him during a dispute and left the island afterwards. Haase apologized publicly for the incident.
In March 2018, she mentioned her wish to participate at the of to improve her public image.
Personal life
She was said to have had a relationship with German rapper Manny Marc over a two-year period. In 2018, Haase announced she was suffering from depression. Haase has undergone several cosmetic surgeries, amongst others, on the nose, lips, and vagina. In January 2018, she was received a 3600 euros fine after she became violent on a cruise ship.
