Megan Pormer

Megan Pormer is an American model and actress of Russian, Turkish and Middle Eastern descent. She also has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Career
As a medical engineer, she concentrated her work in genetic testing; she appeared on Keeping Up with The Kardashians to talk about its utility on preventive healthcare. She is also a breast and ovarian cancer advocate.
The Insider said Pormer was "bridging the gap between the medical world and Hollywood".
The United Nations appointed her as spokesperson for children's rights when she was 5 years old.
As a model, she has been selected as a cover girl for various fashion magazines including Cosmopolitan and Vogue Arabia. She works in international fashion campaigns for brands including Timberland, Bulgari and Michael Cinco, and is spokesmodel for skincare and beauty brands. Pormer also has opened and closed runway shows during New York Fashion Week and Dubai Fashion Week. Pormer's latest acting role was alongside Oscar-nominated Barkhad Abdi.
