Measures Affecting the Production and Sale of Clove Cigarettes is a legal case filed economy by the Indonesian Government on April 7, 2010 to the World Trade Organization (WTO) relating to alleged discrimination by the Government of the United States against the sale of cigarettes in the United States. This dispute was ended by WTO after Indonesia won on appeal after adopting the report of the WTO appellate Body in the case of cigarettes.
Initially, the ban clove cigarettes gain entry into the U.S. market with U.S. public health reasons, but Indonesian judge U.S. actions are not in accordance with the principles of fair free trade. On 7 April 2010, Indonesia had appealed to the United States through the WTO .
