Md Perwez Siddiqui

Md Perwez Siddiqui, (born 26 February 1993) is an Indian social activist turned politician. He is the founder and national president of Muslim Arakshan Morcha.
Life
Siddiqui was born in February 1993, and brought up in the Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.
Siddiqui was born into a family belonging to the Muslim . Siddiqui's father, Md Oziri Siddiqui a teacher in high school under Government of Bihar. His mother, Rahnuma Shabnam Siddiqui is a housewife. He has an elder brother, Md Jawaid Siddiqui, who works as a engineer with a company in Manglore . His younger brother, Md Tabrez Siddiqui, is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.
Md Perwez Siddiqui studied till Class VI at Paramount Academy, in Bihar, before joining S.A.V. School in Muzaffarpur, a Merchant town in Bihar. During his school days, Siddiqui took part in several plays and activities organized by Schools. He completed his Class Tenth board exams in 2008 with a first division. After completion of school, Perwez joined Aligarh Muslim University,taking up commerce in Class XI-XII. Siddiqui has graduated in commerce from the Department of Commerce, AMU,Aligarh in 2014, earning a "first class. " While at the Department of Commerce, he began his involvement in student politics. He found Sir Syed Minority Foundation of India and a year later was selected as a University delegate at its various conference in Delhi. After completing his graduation, he completed Master of Tourism Management from the Aligarh Muslim University.
Political career
While at the Aligarh Muslim University, Siddiqui began getting involved in student politics.In February 2013, he organised a first international seminar at Constitution Club at New Delhi for the restoration of Minority Status of AMU.He is the first from AMU that he organise many seminar and rally at AMU and many other places for the cause of AMU Minority case of AMU. On January 30, 2014 he met with UPA chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi and asked to restore the minority status of AMU. He also met with Hon,ble CM of Bihar to urge for support in the Restoration of Minority Status of AMU. He also met with various National Leaders BJP President Amit Shah to get support in the resoration of minority status of AMU. During the demand of minority status of AMU he was threatened to stop the demand of restoration of minority status of AMU but apart from various difficulties he continues his demand.
In 2015 December,Md Perwez Siddiqui became the first student of AMU who met with the HRD minister Smirti Irani and convince her to fund AMU center, Kishanganj.After two days of meeting, the HRD minister allot 134 crores rupees to AMU center,Kishanganj.
In 2016 April, He met with Hon,ble Railway Minister Shri Suresh Prabhu and request to make a stoppage of Seemanchal Express at Aligarh Junction for the students who are studying from Seemanchal Districts of Bihar and also present him a frame of glorious pictures of AMU.
Siddiqui has also demanded to change the name of movie Aligarh as the name of movie defame the image and reputation of Aligarh District as well as also defame the name of Aligarh Movie University.
Muslim Arakshan Morcha
In October 2017, he found Muslim Arakshan Morcha and raised the demand for five percent reservation for Muslims in all studies and employment in the state of Bihar and organised a first grand rally in Muzaffarpur. After that he organised a massive rally at 22 districts of Bihar with a huge number of Muslims in demand of five percent of reservation for Muslim Community. The front led by Pappu Yadav and Azad was named as Progressive Democratic Alliance (PDA).
Award and recognition
Siddiqui has been awarded Emerging Youth Leader of India by AMU Alumni UAE at Sharjah, UAE two times during the programme of Sir Syed Day and also he received Vicenium Award at Mallapuram, Kerala by Sayyid Ibraheem Khaleel Al Bukhari.
International visit
Siddiqui has visited UAE, Turkey and Nepal.
