Maxime Brulein is a critically acclaimed award winning Belgian writer/director. Biography Born in Menen, Belgium, Brulein made his first movie at age 12, using the 8mm single camera his parents had given him. After studying film in Brussels and graduating with a Master's Degree in Tourism, Recreation and Marketing, he travelled and worked around the globe, living in places like Miami Beach, Germany, Italy and Tunisia, before finally settling in Los Angeles, where he attended the prestigious UCLA Film School. Film Career Brulein has written and directed over a dozen short films, including One Note Too High, And Vice Versa and Gone, which deals with the subject of Alzheimer's disease and stars veteran actress, Barbara Tarbuck. His Alfred Hitchcock inspired/homage short film, Trouble On a Plane, is being turned into a feature film in 2010. He is also the creator, writer and director of The Spy Who Came From Heaven and The Next Top Super Spy, two popular web-series. He has been invited numerous times to teach the art of storytelling, directing and editing to a class of young actors in Los Angeles, aged 5 to 17.
