Mauricio Ramos Arango is a Colombian Businessman with extensive experience as Chief Investment Officer for insurance companies and institutional investors (AXA Colpatria, Mercantil Colpatria) and Chief Financial Officer for multiple companies on the telecommunications industry. As part of his responsibilities he lead the acquisition of a controlling stake on Emermedica, and the Acquisition of Clinica Vip as part of the Health Investments Strategy for Axa Colpatria. From 2008 to 2016, he was Chief Investment Officer of the insurance companies of Axa Colpatria: Property - Axa Colpatria Seguros Generales, Life - Axa Colpatria Seguros de Vida, Health - Axa Colpatria Medicina Prepagada and Capitalizadora Colpatria. Mauricio Ramos Arango was previously CFO of TV Cable (triple play operator in Bogota), CFO of Colombia Telecomunicaciones and CFO of Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones. From 2002 to 2004, he was part of the team the analysed, designed and implementen de transition from Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones. - Telecom. (State own Long Distance Carrier and Local PPT) to Colombia Telecomunicaciones in order to sustain the operation around the country and more important, guarantee the payment of over Cop$5 billion pension Liabilities. Mauricio Ramos Arango earned a degree in Business (1992), and a postgraduate degree in Financial (1996) from Universidad de las Andes in Bogota. He is married with one children and is breeder of Komondor dogs, UAV / Drones enthusiast and technogeek.
