Maung Sein Pe

Maung Sein Pe (born 1920) was a Burmese sprinter. He competed in the and at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
Career
Pe was Burma's only athletics competitor in their 1948 Olympic delegation, entering in both the 100 metres and 200 metres. In the 100 metres, he ran 11.78 seconds to place 6th in his heat. The following month in the 200 m, he placed 4th in his heat and did not advance.
At the 1951 Asian Games in New Delhi, Pe entered in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4 × 100 metres relay. On 8 March, he placed 3rd in his 200 m heat and ran on the Burmese relay team to place 2nd in their heat, qualifying for the finals.
Personal life
Pe was part of the Maung nobility in Burma.
