Matthew Markoff was born August 16, 1984 in a hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He started playing card games professionally in 2007 with his first appearance in the top 8 of a world championships. His game was and is currently World of Warcraft Tcg. With a combined total of over $135,000 in cash and prizes he is currently the highest grossing player of the game(as of Jan 1, 2010).
Matt Is very well known for his high performances and Happy-Go-Lucky antics on the tournament scene. In addition to being a top player, he is known to most for his unique decks and love for the Warlock class and control archetype.
Matt Finished 2nd in 2008 and 3rd in 2009 for the Player of the year race.
