Matthew Mancinelli (born February 7, 1984) is an American film and television studio executive. Mancinelli is the founder and CEO of Mance Media, a global film and television distribution company, and launched one of the first 4K TV channels titled 4KUNIVERSE. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, grew up in the suburban town of Andover, MA and now resides in the east Hollywood Hills. To date, he has exhibited in Cannes at sixteen MIPTV/MIPCOM's and seven NATPE's. Early life Matthew grew up with two younger brothers and played youth sports throughout childhood in Andover, Massachusetts. He attended Andover High School, playing football as a safety and wide receiver. Upon graduating in 2002, Matthew attended Penn State University, where he was active with the local TV channel PSNTV, directing within the broadcast studio. Mancinelli graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Film & Video. That summer, he moved to Los Angeles without a job lined up. He simultaneously worked at three internships - one as the 2nd assistant to Steve Golin at Anonymous Content, one at a production company that held Q&A events at Grauman's Chinese Theater and one working for Paul Rich at Bennett Media Worldwide. Mancinelli eventually took a full-time position at Bennett Media and so began his career in international television distribution. Early career Mancinelli's senior thesis film titled "Plums" landed him an internship with Bennett Media Worldwide in Los Angeles in 2006. Mancinelli began his career working for, and being mentored by, industry veteran Paul Rich at Bennett Media Worldwide for 3 1/2 years. Rich was the former EVP of Distribution for Metromedia Broadcasting and also sold the most popular shows from Aaron Spelling overseas. Metromedia later became FOX Television Network via the sale to Rupert Murdoch in the 1980’s. From 2009 through 2011, Mancinelli was SVP of Worldwide Distribution for Shankly Entertainment (now Principal Media). He was hired at Shankly by the CEO and Greek shipping heir Leon Logothetis to start the distribution division for his production company. Mancinelli launched his own global distribution company, Mance Media, in January 2012. He was the executive producer on 30+ comedy webisodes with comedy group CASUAL MAFIA, grossing millions of views on Youtube in under 6 months. Mancinelli distributed his first feature film, FOREV, in May 2013. The film is a romantic comedy starring Noël Wells (Saturday Night Live). In November 2014, Mancinelli celebrated his first theatrical release, THE TOY SOLDIERS, playing at AMC Theatres in 13 major cities. The Hollywood Reporter published an exclusive article on January 8, 2015, revealing Mance Media's movie release slate for the year, and marking the company's first full year as a movie studio. He is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
