Born in the NJ USA. Matthew Bora is a Goldie Award winning American Director and is an upcoming Hollywood Film Writer/Director/Actor. Matthew Bora started out acting and was discovered by a scout in Miami Beach. He landed his first small speaking part in a movie called Radio Inside playing opposite role of Lead actress Elisabeth Shue. Immediately after that he had another small part in the movie "The Specialist" starring Sylvester Stallone's, Sharon Stone and James Woods that was shot in Miami, Florida.. He lived in Miami Beach and there he did some TV commercials and some independent films. Many peers considered him then to be a pretty good actor and to pursue his goals of being in the Entertainment field.
Early life
Matthew Bora was Born in Paterson, New Jersey. His grew up with divorced parents but lived with his mother. His mother was a textile designer working in New York City, his father was a Factory worker. Matthew and his family did not have an easy life when they came to America from Europe. They both were very hard workers and paid their dues in the early years. Growing up Matthew always liked the Superhero Spider-Man and Bat-Man. and he would never miss a show. He also liked Bruce Lee. Matthew started working at the age of 16 for Brooks Brothers. There he learned the value of money as a youngster and working with people much older then him he learned a lot about life. He went to High school played Football and one of the best players on the team. Played little Baseball, but knew how to play it well. He was into Boxing from a young age and studied Martial Arts. From there he attended college and held some odd jobs to keep the money flowing.
Career Early career
Matthew has always been involved in many different ], but he chose the route of the Entertainment field. His mother knew he had something in him for this type of career. In Matthew's early Entertainment career he started out doing some modeling, everyone told him he had the looks to be in films, or a model. So he went for it at a young age of 16. There he went to various agencies in New York City, then to Miami Beach. He did not take the modeling too serious and did some prints for small ads, magazines and some commercials. He got his first mini break when a Producer from a Pittsburgh, Pa TV show called him in to play a Hot-Bachelor for a new Dating Game Show. He took the chance and even won the match on TV. He started his very first role as actor in America’s Most Wanted in Miami. After that he was selected to do a Budweiser commercial, Chicklets, Bacardi, and a Good-Year commercial. Casting directors started to see some talent and looks in him and he landed more commercial gigs.
Breakthrough
It was in Miami, Fla where he was discovered by a Talent scout, he was picked for his first film and there his career in films started to take off for him. He played in bit parts in movies such as Radio Inside, Starring Elisabeth Shue, he had uncredited Feature roles and as a double in the movie True Lies a James Cameron Film, Starring Arnold Schwarzenneger. He Played as a Sniper in the movie The Specialist Starring Sylvester Stallone. He played in Bad Boys with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith as a small Featured role and did his duty as a stand in and a body double. His biggest breakthrough "almost" came when a Miami casting director that liked Matthew to play a big role, called him to try the lead role for the movie Zorro. He did the casting and was called back 3 times, as the writer and Producer liked him very much and considered him a very good candidate for the lead role of Zorror. However, a financial problem occurred with the production and the movie had to change hands with a different production company. He then lost the part to Antonio Banderas. Matthew was not discouraged in fact this made him want to get into the business even more.
Traveling back and forth from New York and Miami, he met important people along the way in his life that were professionals in the industry and he got some good advice to continue on. One of the more notable friends Matthew had is the Oscar winning Writer the late William Anderson Who wrote the movie Bat 21. It was him that gave Matthew Bora some advice on screen writing and today is has come in very handy. Mr. Anderson even said one day that he'd like Matthew to do one of his film projects called "Lady Blue Beard" a period piece which may still happen one day.
Matthew continued to write his own screenplay called: Insidious an ambitious action adventure script. It is similar to the movies Die Hard with Bruce Willis, Lethal Weapons with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Matthew Wrote, Produced and Directed a movie trailer for this screenplay and is in the development stages for a movie. While still living in Miami, Fl. he has done some Day player and some Feature roles in the TV Pilots such as: Moon Over Miami and South Beach. A few years later in Miami he was given a chance by a friend to take over as Producer and Director for an Independent movie called: South Beach Heat.
When he came back to his home town in New Jersey. He was approached by small time Executive Producer who had a screenplay and some money and wanted to have Matthew Bora Direct and Produce his film. Matthew accepted to Produce, Direct and even Act in it. That independent quirky Romantic Comedy movie was called: Mr. Las Vegas, it has won awards for Best Film, Best Director at the Goldie Awards. and is in Distribution.
Matthew Bora also Wrote, Produced and Directed music videos, and worked with Top Celebrity Fashion Photographers: David La Chapelle and Roxanne Lowitt. Matthew says where he learned the most about film making and inspired by was working with one of the best film Directors of Hollywood: Mr. James Cameron. Known for such films as: Terminator, Alien, Abyss, Titanic, True Lies and his new movie Avatar. Matthew worked on the set of True Lies with Mr. Cameron and there he gained enough creative experience and knowledge to start his own film production company Radiant Pictures Entertainment.
He also had worked with successful Hollywood Director Michael Bay. Known for his movies; The Rock, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys 1-2 and Transformers.” He has worked with top stars of Hollywood like Pamela Anderson, Sharon Stone, Sylvester Stallone, Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Tom Arnold, Arnold schwarzenegger, David La Chapelle, Tia Carerra, Charlton Heston, James Woods, Eric Roberts, Joe Leon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bill Paxton, Tea Leoni, Joe Pantoliano, Nestor Serrano, Yancy Butler, Elizabeth Shue, Bill Campbell and more. His latest film which he decided to Write, Produce and Direct was a Screenplay called: Fear The Forest a Horror-Thriller genre which is about to be released in 2008. He is currently in development of his next theatrical feature length film, and a 3D Animation with his film production company Radiant Pictures Entertainment.

3 Personal life
Matthew Bora is currently living between homes in New Jersey and California. His main focus in life is making more Hollywood theatrical released movies. He is planning on looking into ways to help the needy and a way to save the environment and lowering air pollution. One way he is thinking is to promote clean air is the use of "Solar" and "Wind" energy for homes and for people to simply buy Electric cars. "Everyone would like to breathe a cleaner more oxygen rich air." He is also thinking of new energy ideas that maybe helpful in creating an even better world to live in.
