Matt Conable is an American designer, entrepreneur and owner of the William Henry Brand. He began his career in Davenport, California at age 19, and in 1997 founded the brand William Henry, dedicated to designing and creating jewelry and accessories for men. Early life and career Conable became an apprentice for knifemaker David Boye at age 19 in Davenport, California, where he learned the fundamentals of knife design and performance. Later he moved to Arizona where he built his own craft business, designing and creating custom knives. At age 27, Conable returned to the Bay Area and in 1997 founded the brand William Henry. William Henry William Henry is an American luxury brand, designing and creating jewelry and accessories for men. The William Henry collection includes jewelry, knives, pens, keychains, writing instruments, money clips, cufflinks, and golf tools. The brand has been used by celebrities including Matt Goss, Jamie Alexander, and Peter Facinelli. William Henry's collections are sold on its website and through a select group of authorized independent retailers in the US and abroad. William Henry has received awards including the 2013 JCK Jewelers Choice Award, the Investor/Collector Knife of the Year award by Blade magazine in 2000-2003, 2006-2009, and 2011-2012, and the Overall Knife of the Year award by Blade in 2000, 2003, and 2006.
