Maryjane Chikukwa

Maryjane Chikukwa is a Zimbabwean Urban planner, researcher and writer. Known for her urban planning practice in Southern Africa, Maryjane is a director at the African Planning Society. She is also a director at the urban planning think tank, African Urban Institute. In 2020, following the call for gender equality in planning and gender sensitive urbanism under the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, she was appointed as a member of the executive council of the African Planning Society. Maryjane Chikukwa is a co-author of the book: Cape to Cairo: Africa's Urban Transport Transformation.<ref name=":0" />
