Marti Rulli

Marti Rulli (born Margaret Matilda Carter on October 20, 1952) is an American writer and author of the book Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour.
Biography
Rulli was born a twin on October 20, 1952 with her brother James Carter. She grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ before moving at age 12 to another county in NJ. She is a lifelong New Jersey resident. She has been a freelance writer since the 1970s, working for media and advertising for newspapers and magazines.
Writing
Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour is written by Marti Rulli with her source and co-author Dennis Davern, the former captain of the Splendour. This is a detailed account of Dennis Davern's experience about what happened on that ill-fated trip from Marina del Rey to Catalina Island the weekend where legendary actress, Natalie Wood, lost her life in a mysterious drowning death. Aboard the cruise were Natalie Wood, actor Robert Wagner (her husband), actor Christopher Walken (her co-star in Brainstorm), and Dennis Davern (captain).
