The Peterborough Marriott Hotel is the only four-star hotel in Peterborough, in the East of England, located in Alwalton near the Peterborough Business Park. The hotel was first built as part of the Swallow Hotels Group but now is part of the 3,000 Marriott Hotels & Resorts around the world. The hotel has over 11 acres of grounds around the hotel. The Peterborough Marriott Hotel also recently been refurbished as part of the £100 million Marriott International refurbishment program. Peterborough is a city on the borders of the English Midlands and the East of England. The hotel won an award for workforce development at the 2007 Peterborough Evening Telegraph Business Awards. in 2007, it introduced new bedding and donated the old bedding to local charities. |
