Markus Ello

Markus Ello (Mark Cassello) was born in Chicago, Illinois and was the primary singer/songwriter of the early 90s musical group Your Neighbors which also included the members Drake Blinco, George T. Drag and Bob Bihlman. Your Neighbors released two albums, "Bi-Phase" (1993) and "Roswell" (1995). Performing only in the Midwest, the group opened for such notable acts as Wilco, Aimee Mann, Squeeze, The Jayhawks, The Lemonheads, and others. When the group disbanded in 1996, Markus continued writing and recording as a solo act.

In 1997, Markus completed his unreleased solo album "Good Side" which included Chris Funk (The Decemberists) along with other Northwest Indiana musicians.

In 2000, he formed 3 Tone Green with Bob Bihlman (Your Neighbors, Annie Quick, and The Fireshow) and Brian Daley (The Demilos) and recorded the unreleased album "Breaking Solar Wind" with indie-rock producer Keith Cleversley (The Flaming Lips, , Mercury Rev, The Posies, Spiritualized, etc.) and engineer Andy Bosnak.

In 2006, Markus reunited with the original members of Your Neighbors but added Evelyn Finch (Frankenixon) on piano and vocals. This latest incarnation recorded a yet unreleased seven-song EP with the working title "Team Muscletek."
