Mariangeli Collado

Mariangeli Collado
Mariangeli Collado is a child actor-singer, born in 2003 in South Florida. Her acting career started with major roles in theater productions by Performer’s Playhouse, Actor’s Playhouse at the Miracle Theater in Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale’s Children’s Theater, Pembroke Pines Theater of the Performing Arts, Broward Center of the Performing Arts and Broadway Kids Studio. Her favorite roles have been Annie, Rumpleteazer from Cats, Snow White and The Cat in the Hat from Seussical.
Critics call her “the girl with the perfect pitch”, something that Mariangeli attributes to her theater training and the help from her vocal coach Michele Ameeraly from Broadway Kids Studio (BKS). It was at BKS that Mariangeli got exposure as a singer with performances at Gulfstream Park, Pembroke Gardens, Marlins Stadium, Bank Atlantic Arena and others. She performed as a solo singer with the BKS Star Performers and as a member of the 5 girl Pop group Rainbow Storm.

This “Triple Threat” performer considers dancing on of her passions in life. She started taking dancing lessons at the young age of 4 and has won numerous first place and honor awards in regional dance competitions such as Star Power, Star Quest and Star Bound. She has competed both as a soloist and as a member of the BKS dance team.
When Mariangeli became 9 years old, she signed her first professional contract with Showmobile, an interactive social/mobile storytelling platform lead and produced by Grammy nominated Eric Foster White in Miami Beach, Florida. With Mariangeli as a member of the cast, Showmobile launched HitStreak, its first made-for-mobile music-themed scripted original series. The family friendly show follows four talented YouTube stars as they try to save legendary Miami recording studio "HitStreak" with the help of their fans, friends and phones. The cast, which took four months of auditions to assemble and was hand selected to appeal to the target teen audience, includes Noah, Crystal, Brian, and Mariangeli. Chiqui Delgado, actress and host of Univision's ""Mira Quien Baila," joined the cast as a former Latin Pop Star, and Howard Hesseman of "WKRP in Cincinnati" and "Head Of The Class" fame joins as a legendary recording engineer/producer and owner/founder of "HitStreak" Studios.
As part of the HitStreak script, Mariangeli recorded a cover for Adele’s “Skyfall” and the video of her cover hit YouTube with over 3 million views. But it was her cover of Kate Perry’s “Roar” that really put Mariangeli on the spotlight with 25 million views and over 29,000 subscribers. As part of the HitStreak story, Mariangeli is working on her first original song to be launched in the near future.
Mariangeli’s career continues to grow with articles in major entertainment venues, coverage by international TV shows and newspapers and a fan base that extends all the way to Vietnam, The Philipines, Europe and South America.
