Marcy League (New York)
The Marcy League was an athletic conference made up of schools in the Adirondack region of New York State. Named for the tallest mountain in New York, the league consisted of up to eleven teams at its peak.
Members of the Marcy Leauge in 1978-79 included: Bolton Eagles, Hague Raiders, Indian Lake Indians, Keene , Long Lake Lakers, Minerva Irish, Newcomb Huskies, and Wells Indians.
Previous members included:Chestertown, Horicon, and Pottersville. When these three schools consolidated to form North Warren Central School, the school left the Marcy League.
The Marcy League folded in the 1980s and merged with the Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference.
