Marco Racaniello

Marco Racaniello (Cernusco sul Naviglio, January 14, 1977 - Buttrio, September 3 2005) was a pianist, composer and choir director from Italy.
Marco Racaniello approached music at a young age encouraged by his parents; in the study of piano he demonstrated indications of being a child prodigy, and began to prepare musical compositions well before adolescence. He graduated in piano at the Conservatory Jacopo Tomadini of Udine, which runs insights into Membership at the same Institute of High musical training.
During his entire training he was always taught by the maestro Fabio Di Marco.
He was fascinated by the purity and sanctity that characterises a cappella choir, and he decided to turn his interest to this genre. Over the years he directed several choirs in the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, until 1999, when he was appointed the director of the Choir of the Brigata Alpina Julia.
He received much international recognition, such as performing a concert at the National Theatre of Vilnius, in the presence of Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and the European NATO commander, Wesley Clark during the celebration for the 50th anniversary of Julia directs, as well as the choir of Brigadier , the baritone Ruggero Raimondi and the mezzo-soprano Mirna Pecile in front of the highest political and institutional offices.
