Marco Almera

Marco Almera (born November 1969) is a Southern California Artist. His work centers around the Southern Calfiornia themes of Surfing, Punk and Rock Music, Hot Rods, Religion, and Pin-up girls. Originally creating album covers and rock posters, he has moved into the medium of Fine Art and freestyle graphics .

Almera's work includes album covers for Dropkick Murphys and posters for Gwar, The Misfits, Sublime, and Turbonegro. His fine art has appeared in scenes of the movies Old School and Grindhouse. Famous collectors of his art include James Hetfield and Randy Hild, and he and Frank Kozik participate in a 1-for-1 swap of their work. His work has appeared in Juxtapoz Magazine.

He currently resides in San Diego.
