Marc With a C is an independent musical project led by Marc Sirdoreus with assistance from Chris Zabriskie. There have been six official albums to date under the Marc With a C name, as well as numerous EP's and online-only releases. The project rarely tours, interviews are only sparingly granted, yet Marc With a C remains completely accessible to fans through their official website and MySpace page.
The project will release a CD/DVD combo in August titled Linda Lovelace For President. The CD will contain and album written over a five year span, while the DVD is a complete live show filmed in 2007 at a renovated video store.
Marc With a C is best known for his regional singles "Why Don't Girls Like Me", "Nerdy Girls", "Stuck With Me", "Life's So Hard" and "Classic Country Wasn't Multitracked In '61". The band will celebrate their tenth anniversary in 2009. Marc himself is a longtime proponent of the lo-fi genre, and often mentions that touring before the end of the decade isn't out of the question.
