Marc Thorpe

Marc A. Thorpe is an American architect and designer based in New York City. He founded the eponymous design practice, Marc Thorpe Design (MTD) in 2010 after studying architecture from the Parsons School of Design and currently serves as the principal architect and creative director at the agency.
Education
He earned his B.A. in graphic and industrial design from the University of Maryland before earning a Master of Architecture degree from the Parsons School of Design in 2004.
Career
Thorpe founded Marc Thorpe Design, a design firm in 2010 In 2012, he designed the Blur Sofa for Moroso.
In 2010, Infiniti commissioned him to design their exhibition at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance to reveal the companies latest automotive designs. In 2013, Thorpe designed the first retail space of Under Armour in Shanghai China, a 2,500-square-foot interactive media experience space at the Jing An Kerry Centre. He designed Morning Glory tables for Moroso in 2014, which were presented at Salone del Mobile.
