Furthermore, Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto was approved in several public job positions, including to become the private real estate notary public in the city of Caxias do Sul notary's office in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, he also became an Adjunct Professor at the National Faculty of Law in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ and at the University of Caxias do Sul - UCS, teaching in the graduated Law Master and Doctorate degree.
He was laureated in his Constitutional Law Doctorate and in his Master in Public Policy. Moreover, he obtained the highest grades in several lato sensu specializations and two graduation degrees. Currently, he is studying BA in Journalism at Faculdade da Serra Gaúcha - FSG and Law Doctorate degree at the University of Alicante, UA, Spain, in partnership with Universidade do Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI.

Family history
Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto is Manoel Valente de Figueiredo's grandson, condecorated as the largest Brazil's rice farmer in 1980. He is the great-grandson of the Portuguese Agostinho Valente de Figueiredo, a Nobleman Knight of Portugal (Mercy General Record, Mercy of D. João V, bk. 15, p. 117v), and he is also the great-great-grandson of Manuel dos Reis de Figueiredo, both are from a rich and aristocratic Portuguese family from the region of Sintra, Portugal.
Agostinho Valente de Figueiredo was born in Portugal circa the 1840s, he has emigrated to Brazil to integrate the monarchy during the Second Empire period. He has landed in the city of São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, along with his brother Lourenço Valente de Figueiredo and other relatives. Agostinho Valente received the Colonel title from the Brazilian National Guard. Colonel Agostinho died in the city of São Luís-MA in 1928. Manoel Valente de Figueiredo was born on February 20, 1923 and died on September 11, 1983 in Tuntum town, Maranhão State. Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto was born three years after the death of his grandfather.
Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto's mother is called Rita Neuma Gomes Figueiredo and she is: a farmer, writer and Portuguese language teacher. His father, Hélio Araújo, has a bachelor's degree in: Law, Administration and Economics; he is also a politician, farmer and teacher.
Academic Trajectory
Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto began his academic career teaching the Portuguese subject in elementary and high school at Centro Piauiense de Ensino school at the age of 17 in the city of Teresina, Piauí. By that time, he was undergraduating at the same time in Portuguese Literature at the Federal University of Piauí and a BA in Law at the Centro de Educação Unificada de Teresina, CEUT (Estácio - CEUT nowadays). He entered the graduate Public Policy master's degree at the Federal University of Piauí after undergraduating in Literature when he was 20, he accomplished his first year at the master's degree and the last year of his BA in Law at the same time. He undergraduated in Law in December 2008 at the age of 22. He defended his Master thesis in March 2010 when he was 23 years old.
Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto started his teaching career in the higher education level as a law assistant professor at the Federal University of Maranhão - UFMA, due to a public written, didactics and titles examination at the age of 24. He was also hired by the Federal Institute of Piauí - IFPI as a Law professor due to a public written, didactics and titles examination at the same age. He has taught at several universities, colleges and civil society organizations. He entered in the graduate Constitutional Law Doctorate at the University of Fortaleza - UNIFOR at the age of 26 and defended his PhD dissertation in November 2015 when he was 29.
At the age of 31, Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto has taught at the National Faculty of Law - FND at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ as a result of a public written, didactics and titles examination and defense of memorial. His time in Rio de Janeiro was a short one, it was estimated in one year.
Manoel Valente Figueiredo Neto started teaching at the University of Caxias do Sul - UCS as an Adjunct Professor at the graduate Law Master and Doctorate degree when he was 33 as a result of approval in the selection opened to general public. Manoel Valente entered the Graduate Program in Law (PPGDIR / UCS) at UCS that it is composed by Master and Doctorate degree and aims at training high-level master and doctoral researchers, committed to innovation, qualification, diversity and social inclusion at the higher education. A training guided by ethical and investigative attitudes, converging to the achievement of proactive actions towards to the construction of a society based on democratic principles.
