Manan Sahni (b.1999) is an Indian filmmaker known for his works in International award winning short films. When he was 19 he started his journey into filmmaking with student projects and ever since that he started venturing into professional projects with his short film Waiting. Waiting Waiting was created in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic and it was based on the September 11 attacks. Displaying a unique style of filmmaking in this film by combing both elements of a narrative short film and a documentary . Upon its submission to film festivals, it received rave reviews - praising the screenplay , direction and performances of the cast. It also won him awards for Best Screenplay twice and of best director . |
