Malik Muhammad Asif

Malik Muhammad Asif is an industrialist. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the White Pearl group of companies and President Director of Royal Industries Indonesia.
Business career
Malik Muhammad Asif started his business career at an early age. He oversees the management of palm plantations, palm oil industries and teak wood export businesses in Indonesia. The Royal Group Indonesia conglomerate has collectively created employment for more than 15,000 people globally.
Awards
Malik Muhammad Asif received the civilian National Award of Honor "Tamgha-e-Imtiaz" meaning "Distinguished Service Medal" from the President of Pakistan in 2011. He was also awarded the Businessman of the Year Award in 2007 in Pakistan for his contribution to the industrial sector. In 2007 he became Chairman of the Pakistan Jute Mills Association (PJMA), and he is a member of the association's executive committee. In 2002 he became Vice Chairman of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP). He is the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Slovakia in Pakistan.
Philanthropy
Malik Muhammad Asif supports Baba Fareed Eye Treatment Trust in Pakistan where 4,000 eye patients are treated annually. He has contributed financial and material help to earthquake and flood victims in Pakistan; and to distressed and displaced people of Merapi volcanic eruption in YogJakarta Indonesia.
Under Malik Muhamamd Asif's guidance, the Royal Group has been providing financial support for 30 schools, 1 hospital, 3 clinics and 3 dispensaries in Indonesia and Pakistan. His philanthropic activity has also benefited 30 churches and 3 mosques in Indonesia.
