Magnum Heat

Magnum Heat is 2008 a short film created by several teenage boys from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The film stars James Kindy as Dan, Matthew Abbott as Jeff, an Micah Poor as Chief. Magnum Heat is a film based on the ethics of cops and how some are more easily tempted with money than others.

Plot
It started like any ordinary day for Jeff and Dan, they got up, changed, ate and went to work. They were then called by the police Chief and went out to do their job. When Jeff and Dan arrived at the scene the coroner Stormy was already there investigating. Stormy filled them in about what happened to poor Ms. Richardson and how she met her tragic fate. Jeff and Dan decide to go dig up some more evidence so they go visit Ms. Richardson's cousin, her closest alive relative. He wasn't much of a help but he did tell the dynamic duo what Ms. Richardson's job was. She worked in Customs and Trasportaion. Jeff and Dan thanked him and left, to go visit Ms. Richardson's home. When they arrive they go straight to her garage to investigate. As Jeff goes through the larger things sorting through it Dan goes in deeper. He sifts through her dog's dog food and find's exactly what he expected; crack cocaine. The two leave and return to their office to do some diagonostic tests on the cocaine. Dan then desides to go out and take a break. While Dan's out Jeff is nearly assasinated by some masked figure. While Dan's out walking he gets attacked by a sniper that just barely misses him. He shoots at the sniper whom falls to his death. The two later meet up at their apartment and discuss things over, there they decide that the best course to take is... to supper. On their way to supper the two are attacked by two unknown men armed with an MP5 and a shotgun. Jeff and Dan armed with only pistols beat the two unknown assaliants due to their great training they recieved as Siloam Springs Police Officers. The next day Jeff and Dan are casually playing a round of pool when the police chief walks in. Chief tells them that they're getting to close to the case and are off the case. After arguing for a moment it changes, the chief says to them that they're either off the case or off the force. The two decide that if that's how it's going to be that they were quitting. On the drive home our heart-broken hero's are attacked by some other unknown armed villian. The two disarm and knock out the villian with ease. From then on they new that someone was out to get them. They go to a condemned church, where the belive that the mastermind behind this whole mess may be lurking. It quickly escalades up into a car chase. Bullets flying, rubber peeling, cars damaged. The unknown attacker's car over heats and they are forced to get out and run for it. The two unknown men work their way up to the roof of the church, where they learn that the unknown mastermind behind it all was Chief, their police chief. The two supossedly unarmed Chief but he was armed with a hidden revolver. He shoots Jeff. Dan, out of rage shoots Chief off of the church roof. As Dan holds on to Jeff, for they may be the last moments they are together, Jeff reveals that he is fine and they go out to eat. After the credits and blooper of the movie it is shown that Chief is still alive.
