Madalina Nicola

Madalina Nicola is a contemporary painting artist of international recognition, who was born in 1970 in Romania, Eastern Europe. After graduating college in 1994, she married and immigrated to the United States, where she currently lives with her husband.

The internationally renowned abstract artist, and highly sought after landscape artist, Madalina Nicola, has combined both of her extraordinary talents, to create highly important, large scale masterpieces. In her most recent avant-garde works, Madalina’s finest abstracts and landscapes now share the same exquisite canvas and are suggestively known as “Romantic Dreamscapes.”

Since childhood, Madalina suffered of Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome and Asthma, all conditions with no known medical cure. Instead of giving up, Madalina started her own research and, after years of struggle and with the help of alternative medicine, she completely overcame her illnesses. Today, she is pain free, fit as an athlete, centered and focused on her art.

Over the last several years, Madalina Nicola’s artistic career includes over two dozen successful Exhibits with Art Galleries throughout the United States, such as in New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C, Las Vegas and Michigan. Madalina also held a series of art lectures and exhibited some of her most representative art in the Art Gallery aboard "The World", the luxury ship liner that carries privately owned vacation residences around the world. Madalina’s art was on display in a SOLO Exhibition at the ArtExpo International in New York..

Madalina Nicola’s art is currently represented by Art Corporation of America, an art organization which, over the past forty years, had worked with and represented the art of such great masters, as Norman Rockwell, Leroy Nieman as well as of celebrity painters, such as Anthony Quinn, Tony Curtis, Red Skelton, Walter Lantz and many more. .

Madalina Nicola and her exquisite art have been profiled in numerous publications, in-print and on-line, such as Art Business News Magazine, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Gazz, The Saatchi Online Gallery, The Art Showcase Magazine, DDA News Magazine, Gallery and Studio Magazine and many more.

Madalina Nicola’s art had been auctioned to benefit cancer research organizations, such as . Her works can be found in private collections in the United States, Russia, Romania and Switzerland.

In 2007, the independent production company Real Earth Productions had produced and released on DVD the biographical movie “Madalina”, which is a moving account of the life and career of the painter.
