Lumberjacking was predominately filmed in Rhode Island. A community project, the people behind the film's interest were in getting the community involved. Working with local Rhode Island brands such as Narragansett Beer and infamous local places such as McShawn's Pub in Cranston. The filmmakers worked with the community to make a film that was inheritably Rhode Island. Filmed throughout the state with the help of locals for use of locations, props, antique automobiles and actors.
As for the technical behind the film, Lumberjacking was an experiment using both an HDV camera solution with a Letus35 adaptor and dSLR technology capable of HD video recording.
