Luis Miguel Romero Fernández M.Id,(born June 16, 1954) is a Spanish priest of the Catholic Church and will serve as auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Rockville Centre in 2020. Biography Romero was born in Palencia, Spain, and raised in Huelva. He entered the Idente Missionaries in 1972 In 2007, Romero was named president of the Organización Universitaria Interamericana (Inter-American Organization for Higher Education). In December 2019 he was named vicar of Hispanic ministry for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre. On April 16, 2020, Romero will be consecrated as a bishop. |
