Ludmila 'Luda' Mesropian is a Georgian-born classical violinist and pedagogue residing in Madrid, Spain. Background/Education== Ludmila 'Luda' Mesropian was born in to an Armenian family of musicians. She initiated her musical and violin training at the young age of seven years old in the Paliashvili Special Music School in Tibilisi for gifted children. During several years, she was a member of the violin ensemble directed by Shota Shanitze, collaborating with the Bolshoi Theater under the direction of Yuri Reentovich. Only seven years later, at the age of fourteen, she was a finalist in the Young Artists Competition of Georgia. At the age of sixteen, Luda moved to Yerevan (Armenia) where she continued her musical instruction in the Tchaikovsky Special Music School, and later enrolled in the Komitás Superior Conservatory where she graduated with the most prestigious qualifications in the specializations of violin performance and pedagogy. Her main violin professor was Aram Shamshian, a disciple of Leopold Auer. Performer Spain<ref name"Curso Parla de música Ciudad de Parla"/>== In 1996 Luda moved to Madrid, where she has performed numerous recitals and is part of the Opera Orchestra of the Calderón Theater. In Spain, she quickly stood out as one of the most important violin pedagogues and one of the few direct followers of the Auer school who teaches in Spain. Her Spanish students have been the winners of various national and international competitions. She has taught at the Katarina Gurska school and currently is a professor at the Creative Music School of Madrid. Luda has also participated in a variety of international violin conferences and institutes like those of Sigüenza, Burgos, and the Curso de Parla in Parla.
