Loyd Ivey

Loyd Ivey is the chairman and CEO of Mitek Corporation, the "mothership" of MTX Audio, Xtant Technologies, Atlas Sound, Coustic Car Audio, Streetwires, Esoteric Audio USA, and DCM Loudspeakers. Mitek is a leading U.S. manufacturer of car, home, professional and commercial audio products, and for more than 30 years Ivey has been a major proponent and contributor to the advancement of the consumer electronics industry. Ivey is widely recognized for his innovative thinking and entrepreneurial success. He employs more than 850 "partners" in the Mitek facilities located in Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Tennessee, and Texas.
As past chairman of the Mobile Electronics Division of CEMA, and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the CEMA Board of Directors, Loyd Ivey is an advocate for the industry's growth and well being, as well as for consumers' rights to enjoy music and the equipment for reproducing it.
Loyd Ivey also sponsors charitable organizations and fundraising events, such as rock and roll legend Alice Cooper's Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament held in support of the Solid Rock Foundation, a non-profit group formed to keep teens safe from gangs, guns and drugs. Ivey also supports educational pursuits and entrepreneurial achievement by serving as a regional judge for the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization. Ivey is a major contributor to the Electronic Industries Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Electronic Industries Alliance, which advances educational opportunities for a competent workforce, and to the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) education fund.

Loyd Ivey is an aviation enthusiast and is a licensed pilot. Ivey likes fast cars and motorcycles.
