Loyal Trooper is an indie/folk project created by musician Andy Walker based in London, England. History Loyal Trooper began in 2007 and has toured across the UK supporting artists including The Wombats, Keith, Skint & Demoralised, Chris T-T, Balor Knights, The Yell, Smoke Fairies, FrankMusik, Assembly Now and Rotary Ten. "One Day All This Will Work Out" EP was released on the 3rd November 2008 gaining critical acclaim including 'Single of the Week', Room Thirteen and Tasty Zine reviews. The EP received airplay on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2 from Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Jon Hillcock at XFM London and US internet radio station WOXY.com. On July 25, 2009 Loyal Trooper was the opening act of the Indietracks Festiva in Derbyshire, England. Other artists performing at the festival included Emmy The Great, Camera Obscura and Teenage Fanclub. Walker played in the unique setting of a railway carriage. "The Doctor" appeared on the Make Do And Mend Records compilation album "Indietracks: And Indiepop Festival" released June 1, 2009 '.
