Los Hijos de la Malinche is an internet radio program of the Reforma Newspaper. Los Hijos de la Malinche is a youth program aimed at university students, broadcasted through Reforma one of Mexico´s most important Newspapers. Conducted by students; Emilio Lezama of the UNAM, Hector Tajonar of El Colegio de México and Eynel Pilatowsky also of the UNAM, the program features diverse sections with political, cultural and sport themes. The program has a fast dynamic, permitting student discussion tables, news analysis, poetry reading, music, and two interviews, one with an outstanding young person and another with a recognized public figure. In this last section a great variety of mexican and sometimes international figures have been interviewed. This impressive array of guests and the relaxed but informed format of the program has given it prestige in academic and youth circles. The program's name is based on a famous chapter of the Laberynth of Solitude by Mexican Nobel Prize Octavio Paz.
