Loreen Alma Dinwiddie (nee Jones; born June 1, 1903) is an American centenarian who is, at the age of 109 years, the oldest living person in the state of Oregon, as well as the oldest confirmed vegan. She became a vegan in 1922, following her marriage to Rodger P. Dinwiddie. Her father died in 1970, at the age of 90. She was born in Buxton, Iowa, where her father was a coal miner, moved to Henderson, Minnesota after Buxton was abandoned, and moved to Portland, Oregon in 1998, following the death of her husband.. Her mother lived to be 57 (1882-1939) and her father lived to be 90 (1880-1970).
She has an 81 year old daughter, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
