Lonnetrix

Lonnetrix is a style of wire sculpture that is a combination of wire wrapping (wire wrapped jewelry) and weaving. Created by wire artist, Lonnie Q. Ingram in 1988 at the age of 6., Lonnetrix is both a name and a style identifier. Each sculpture is scaled down between 1/8th and 1/250th of its original size. Lonnetrix has been featured on 104.7 WAYZ on AJ Silver's radio show in 2012, at Silo Point's Lotta Art Event in Baltimore, MD in 2013 and 2014 , , in Royal Oak, Michigan Clay, Glass and Metal in 2014 and in Maryland Local Business Spotlight in 2015, FOX45 Baltimore News in 2015,Royal Oak, Michigan Clay Glass and Metal in 2017 and on FOX45 Hometown Hotspot in 2020. |
