"Long Odds" is an episode of the long-running British police drama The Bill, broadcast on the ITV Network. This is the fourth episode of the first series. Synopsis The Sun Hill cops are investigating a series of armed robberies in the area. When PC Dave Litten thinks he recognises one of the robbers from a photo, he bypasses Sgt. Bob Cryer and takes the information straight to DI Roy Galloway, believing that it will expedite a transfer to CID ... but Galloway soon puts him straight. Despite this, he does achieve his goal.
