Long Island Beans

The Long Island Beans are four time NLB World Series Champions. They have won the championship in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2004. They have also won the 2002 King of the Fields Tournament in Bangor Maine.


CURRENT 2008 SEASON

The Beans currently stand in 3rd place in their division. Their record is 10 wins and 9 losses.
The team roster consists of the founders, Ruben Aviles and Glen Notaro , along with Hershey Brown, Caw Casian, Stacks Jackson, Xavier Jones, Enrique Salizar, Duke Ruth, Tommy Medchuck, Charlie Riggs, Salvatore Suggs, AJ McGregor.

The pitchers are Michael Quartararo, Victor Crenshaw, Bobby Sygrove, Ramon Rodriguez, Yoshiro Horowitz, Mo Chang, Bobby Cent, Steve Franklin, and closer Horatio Sanchez


The NLB have announced that the King of the Fields tournament will return and will take place in Delaware.

The 2008 NLB All Star game will take place in Texas in August 2008.
