Lizzie Massey is a 16 year old singer/songwriter/guitarist that has been writing and performing for the past four years as a solo artist. Lizzie is known as unique because she is a female that plays an electric guitar and sings her own songs on stage with no backing. She recently entered a very popular Battle Of The Bands contest (prizes include an opportunity to play at a music festival and receive hours of free studio time at the infamous Denmark Studios) and got through, without a band. Lizzie's biggest highlight so far was performing on The Left Field Stage at Glastonbury in 2007. This came about through the UK charity 'Youth Music' who ran a national competition to find 5 teenagers to form a band and perform at Glastonbury. She performed with four really talented guys: Tom Ralphs (guitar/vocals), Luke Ryan (lead guitar), Max Langley (bass) and TJ (drums). They called themselves REVOLT, wrote a song 'Call It What You Want' and performed it in front of a 3,500 strong crowd on Glastonbury's Left Field stage, and released the song on iTunes. Lizzie's most famous gigs include playing the Hard Rock Cafe in London, the Heroes Bar in Maidenhead, and of course, Glastonbury. Lizzie is attending the Brighton Institute Of Modern Music next year (BIMM) and hopes with her material to get her music out to the awaiting public.
